May 1, 2015 (San Diego) They came to Pantoja Park in downtown San Diego. They first trickled in, but when the time to march about 200 people took to the streets of downtown San Diego. Before the walking though came the dancing, from the Calpulli Mexica, who delighted the crowd with dance to the beat of the drum and the smell of cleansing and blessing sage smoke. This was thick in the air, and was to remain with the marchers, since the dancers led the march, with the sacred fire, and the smoke, leading the crowd.

Before and after the marching there were speeches, and connections made by the speakers, These connections ranged from the Valley of San Quintin in Baja California, to workers at El Super, as well as Baltimore Maryland and lives taken by law enforcement, Though there was some good news, and the few among the crowd we…
