March 24, 2015 (El Cajon) So East County Magazine reports that El Cajon Police has more of an issue with their officers than even Channel 10 discovered. It was not just a quota, but sexual harassment and assault going back years.
Then we have the Philadelphia PD go though a Department of Justice (DOJ) review for use of force. Apparently, DOJ found, among other things, that officers did not know when exactly they could use deadly force. Think about this for a minute. Officers, who are granted the right to use deadly force, did not exactly understand when it is legal to do so. Just fearing for your life is not enough. If that is the standard, well it explains the high number of officer involved shootings.
