The group released this statement:
“For over 100 days the people of the United States of America have expressed their dissatisfaction in the way that our government has handled the murder of Mike Brown by Darren Wilson of the Ferguson PD. The charade of a grand jury was only a tactic to stall the people. But the people cannot and will not be deterred in our fight for JUSTICE!! We not only stand for Mike Brown but for the over 5,000 Americans that have been murdered at the hands of our own law enforcement since 9/11 and the countless others before then.
“We call for our government to STAND DOWN, to remove the National Guard from #Ferguson and to arrest and try Darren Wilson for the murder of Mike Brown.
“In California, we call on Jerry Brown to reverse his stance on allowing police to get away with murder by modifying the POLICE OFFICERS BILL OF RIGHTS. Too many Californian’s have been murdered, their families victimized by the people that we pay to protect and serve us. And NO one is being held accountable, on the contrary they are given paid vacations and bonuses from their unions. This MUST STOP!
“We call for a national database of civilians who are murdered by police, we call for national standards that will remove impunity from law enforcement. A badge is NOT a license to kill or to abuse. A badge does not make a human being judge jury and executioner. We are not going away. We will not be silent. We will continue to uphold our rights under the Constitution.”
